– introducing the guests to the Students’ Council by the school president Kotryna Steponėnaitė and student Einius Pajarskas;
– introducing ourselves;
– introducing the Lithuanian education system by the chief inspector Vida Dičiūnaitė

– coffee break
12.30 –13.30 – tour of the school building given by the deputy head Aldona Petrokienė
13.30 – 15.00 Cafeteria Bangelė:
– lunch break
15.00 – 16.00 The Culture Centre:
– introducing the guests to Lithuanian national dances by the local folk dance company Gojus
16.00 – 19.00 – free time
19.00 – 21.00 The hotel restaurant Nykščio namai:
– an evening with Lithuanian national music given by the local song company Anykšta

– integrating project activities into lessons at our school: introducing the partner countries to our students (all presentations done in the form of an informal conversation)

12.00 – 16.00 – a trip to Niūronys village for getting to know the bread making traditions (lunch included)
16.30 – 18.00 The school’s assembly hall:
Presentation of the work done so far:
– presenting portfolio on the ethno-genesis myth (all partner schools);
– presenting the Comenius brochure “The Most Popular National Mythological Elelements” (Lithuanian team)

– a day trip to the capital city of Vilnius (tour of the city: visiting landmarks; lots of walking expected – comfortable shoes advised) (only for the guests)

9.30 – 12.30 The school’s assembly hall:
Planning the activities:
– discussions and planning ahead;
– deciding the dates for other meetings in the second year of the project (if possible);
– general information before the meeting in Pietarsaari (Finnish team);
– conclusions Rooms 26 and 30 (ground floor):
– trying yourself at art (9.30-11.00);
The school‘s gym:
– enjoying the sports activities (11.00-12.30) (bring suitable clothes and shoes as well as your towel for a shower afterwards)
12.30 – 13.00 Room 67:
– coffee break
13.00 – 14.00 The school’s assembly hall:
– introducing the guests to Lithuanian history (report given by English teacher Daiva Juodelienė; folk songs sung by ethnographic song company Valaukis)

– meeting the mayor Sigutis Obelevičius The Regional Park of Anykščiai:
– getting to know the local heritage (educational programme)

– farewell dinner with modern and historic dances performed by the local dance companies Verpetas and Pavana
